KommuneKredit publishes Green Bond Impact Report
Today, we have published our 7th annual Green Bond Impact Report, which contains an account of the allocation of the proceeds from our green bonds (allocation reporting) as well as of the expected impacts of our green loan portfolio (impact reporting).
We are very pleased that our green bond as well as green loan portfolio continues to grow. At the turn of the year 2023/2024, we had in total approved more than 1,000 green loans with a total loan volume of over DKK 32.7 billion. Moreover, as of 2023/2024, we have issued DKK 27.9 billion in green bonds.
We see our green portfolios as an expression of our members’, i.e. Danish municipalities and regions, as well as affiliated entities such as the utility sector, significant role in the green transition of the Danish society. Thanks to local climate ambitions, for example the municipalities' and regions' climate action plans, we expect that our green loan and green bond portfolios will continue to grow in the coming years.
