Highlights for 2023
Out of the total outstanding loans about 40 per cent is subject to reported CO2e impact ( DKK 5,164 million). For these loans, the attributable CO2e impact is 20 tonnes per million. Our green loan portfolio has contributed to a reduction of 105,159 tonnes CO2e. This is mostly due to the portfolio's contribution of an annual renewable energy generation of 1,035,766 MWh, primarily for district heating purposes, and reduced/avoided CO2e emissions equivalent to 9,160 MWh arising from energy efficient buildings and improvements in the energy sector.
