We aim to ensure predictability in our funding activities and have observed a relatively stable funding need in recent years, amounting to EUR 5-6 billion per year. Investors will experience funding transactions across short-, medium- and long-term maturities as the amortisation profile of lending to Danish local governments is up to 40 years.

Funding activities
We expect to issue EUR 5 billion worth of bonds throughout the year. This is consistent with the funding volumes secured in previous years. Our strategic commitment to the benchmark funding markets in DKK, EUR and USD is expected to materialise in at least one transaction per currency per year. Reflecting our activities of previous year, we anticipate funding needs across short-, medium- and long-term maturities. A key component of our funding strategy is to maintain our position as a prominent issuer of green bonds, and we expect to continue our annual issuance of at least one green bond.
